If you like SHORTER working hours, a BALANCED work-life environment, Family-style approach to long-term clients and a possible management role in future, AAVC - Animal & Avian Veterinary Clinic might be the clinic for such. 

 orking hours is approximately 35hrs/weekweekend/after hours are optional.
 
Full training/guidance/support will be provided to the vet by our current 4 veterinarians, and 5 support staff. 

AAVC will guide/train you, with the aim of having you with AAVC for a long-term career.

 Case load: 75% dogs/cats, 15% avian, 10% pocket pets & exotics. 

Only Singaporean veterinarians will be considered due to manpower quota.

What the (veterinarian) applicant need to know:

 

  • We do NOT have Xray facilities. No dogs/cats orthopedic procedures, or intensive internal medicine workups. Complex cases are referred to better equipped veterinary centres/hospitals / veterinary colleagues / specialists who are better skilled/knowledgeable and having more staff on hand to handle such cases.
  • We are a BASIC small animal practice with NO advance diagnostic, medical, or surgical facilities. 
  • We see a fast flowing general practitioner work with routine soft tissue surgeries, and minor hospitalized patients for work up.
  •  An interest in Avian and Reptile Medicine, and/or small pocket pets (Hamsters, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs) will be a plus (for veterinarians). 
  • We are equipped with IDEXX suite, Ultrasound, Tonopen, PetMap, Blood pressure monitors, SpO2, BreathAlert, Fluid pumps, Dental, Electrocauterizer, Cooling/heating patient cushions and many more equipment/facilities to serve a general small animal and exotic practice.
  • We are looking for a LONG TERM partner who grows with AAVC.
